From the Creator
I created Thorium-AI because I was tired of seeing people either fear AI or blindly trust it without understanding what it actually is. Most AI education is either too technical (for programmers) or too vague (just hype). There was nothing for regular people who just want to understand this technology that's changing everything.
This project requires hundreds of hours of work, but I do it because:
- Understanding AI is becoming as essential as using the internet. Everyone deserves access to clear, practical knowledge about the technology reshaping our world.
- The conversation about AI shouldn't be left to tech companies alone. We need informed citizens, not just passive users. Knowledge is power, especially with transformative technology.
- AI tools can be amazing helpers for creativity, learning, and productivity — if you know how to use them properly. I want to show people how to harness this power.
- There are real dangers with AI — scams, deepfakes, bias, job displacement. The best protection is understanding. I want to equip people with knowledge to protect themselves.
- Most importantly: AI should be accessible to everyone. You shouldn't need a computer science degree to understand ChatGPT or know how to spot a deepfake.
